Google announced on Aug 15th, 2006 its Analytics Service is available for anyone to use for free.

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia: Google Analytics is a free service offered by Google that generates detailed statistics about the visitors to a website.

Once a webmaster or a do-it-yourselfer has installed a few lines of code on your web pages you can use the collected Analytics data to develop more accurate advertising, fine tune your customer’s web experience, and increase your return on your investment by converting more visitors into paying customers. If you are currently operating in the dark, by that I mean you simply have a website because it’s the thing to do or your just matching your competitors Internet presence, whatever the reason, if you do not have a clear plan to generate some sort of return for your online efforts I suggest you contact a professional to help you achieve just that. Just the fact that you have a website means you are marketing, you have taken the initiative to put your name in front of the online community. By the way this is becoming the accepted and most common way to investigate just about anything of interest. Take your Internet Marketing efforts to the next level no matter where you’re starting from with a Google Analytics account.
